The next version of Acentrix is focused on modernizing the user interface, improving on product performance and enhancing the capabilities of the current data mart manager.

Major New Features

Global Data Marts
Organizations that have implemented more than one data mart for each division/customer base can now create a global data mart. A global data mart will give the users the ability to build common customer target lists by adding filters from one or more data marts.

Data Mart - Snowflake Schemas
The previous versions of Acentrix were limited to star schemas. Although this ensured the fastest queries possible it sometimes resulted in the unnecessary duplication of data during the de-normalization process.  The data mart manager in Acentrix 3.0 will now also support snowflake schemas. This will allow a better overall balance between speed and storage requirements.

Smart Queries
The query engine is being rewritten to support 'smart queries'. When a single target list is modified the query engine will no longer have to update all of the target lists in a project. Instead only the modified and the proceeding target lists are updated.

Project Management Enhancements
Projects can now be organized in user created project folders. There is also a new public folder area where projects can be stored for easy access by all Acentrix users. User shared projects are also now access under the new public users folder which list all Acentrix users.

Target List Enhancements
New to Acentrix 3.0 is multi level segmentation. This feature allows the user to segment target lists multiple times providing greater flexibility. Also new to Acentrix 3.0 is target list history tracking. This feature keeps track of the previous target list updates providing the user with a history of target list counts.

Export Enhancements
Acentrix 3.0 will replace the previous 'activity' method of exporting data. In its place will be a simple export button that when pressed will open an export window allow the user to select the target lists to export and the data views to use during export.
